Les anciens racontaient que certains serpents naissaient dans les constellations et venaient mourir parmi les fleurs de la terre. 🌙✨

J’avais envie de mettre en valeur la finesse du squelette sans le noyer sous les fleurs. J’ai donc choisi de travailler avec des fleurs noires, presque fondues dans le fond, pour apporter du relief et de la profondeur tout en restant discrètes.
Pour contraster avec cette atmosphère sombre, j’ai ajouté quelques touches de rose vif pour apporter un point d’accroche au regard et donner un peu de vie à l’ensemble.
J’ai également réalisé une décoration céleste très légère au foil à chaud doré. Je voulais quelque chose de délicat qui accompagne le mouvement du serpent sans lui voler la vedette.
Les coins dorés sont fixés mécaniquement et non collés, afin de garantir une finition propre et durable dans le temps.
J’espère que ce serpent floral vous plaira autant que les précédents malgré que les photos ne lui rendent pas justice ✨🐍🌙

The ancients used to say that some serpents were born among the constellations and came to die among the flowers of the earth. 🌙✨
I wanted to highlight the delicacy of the skeleton without overwhelming it with flowers. So I chose to work with black flowers, almost blending into the background, to add depth and dimension while remaining subtle.
To contrast with this dark atmosphere, I added a few touches of bright pink to create a focal point and bring a little life to the composition.
I also created a very subtle celestial decoration using gold hot foil. I wanted something delicate that would follow the movement of the serpent without stealing the spotlight.
The gold corner protectors are mechanically fixed rather than glued, ensuring a clean and durable finish over time.
I hope you’ll love this floral serpent as much as the previous ones. ✨🐍🌙

Pour faire vivre Fabrica Curiosa, je consacre aujourd’hui une grande partie de mon temps à la préparation des festivals et événements, qui représentent une part importante de mon activité.
La production de centaines de créations demande plusieurs semaines de travail et une organisation différente de celle que j’avais jusqu’à présent.
Afin de continuer à vous proposer de nombreuses créations tout en préparant ces événements, les commandes seront désormais regroupées selon un calendrier fixe que vous trouverez dans les slides suivantes.

As many of you already know, I am now self-employed full-time 💕 YAY!
To make Fabrica Curiosa thrive, I now dedicate a large part of my time to preparing festivals and events, which represent an important part of my activity. Producing hundreds of creations requires several weeks of work and a different organization than before.
In order to continue offering you many new creations while preparing these events, orders will now be organized according to a fixed schedule, which you will find in the following slides.

Aujourd’hui est mon premier jour en tant qu’indépendante à 100 %. 💖✨
J’ai du mal à réaliser que j’écris ces mots.
Il y a 6 ans, j’ai étalé mon premier papillon et Fabrica Curiosa est née.
Depuis, il y a eu des moments incroyables, des doutes, de la fatigue, des remises en question, des périodes où je ne savais plus si j’allais continuer.
Et pourtant, la vie m’a toujours ramenée ici 🩷
Aujourd’hui, je ferme la porte d’un chapitre qui a été parfois difficile, parfois épuisant, mais qui m’a menée exactement là où je suis.
J’ai peur, bien sûr. Ce serait mentir de dire le contraire.
Mais pour la première fois, je me donne la chance d’essayer vraiment.
Alors merci. Merci à toutes les personnes qui m’ont soutenue, qui sont venues sur les marchés, qui ont adopté un cadre, envoyé un message, partagé mon travail ou simplement cru en moi quand moi-même j’en doutais.
Sans vous, cette journée n’existerait pas 🥹

Today is my first day as a full-time self-employed artist. 💖✨
I still can’t quite believe I’m writing these words.
Six years ago, I created Fabrica Curiosa with one simple desire: to create. Since then, there have been incredible moments, doubts, exhaustion, countless questions, and times when I wasn’t sure I would keep going.
And yet, life always brought me back here.
Today, I’m closing the door on a chapter that was sometimes difficult, sometimes exhausting, but that led me exactly where I am meant to be.
I’m scared, of course. I’d be lying if I said otherwise.
But for the first time, I’m giving myself the chance to truly try.
So thank you. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, visited my market stalls, adopted one of my creations, sent a kind message, shared my work, or simply believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself.
Without you, this day wouldn’t exist 🥹
